LIVE AT ELECTROACOUSTIC CLUB
VOLUME ONE
is a unique
compilation of 17 tracks recorded
in 2005 at one of London's most
intimate, atmospheric and
celebrated weekly live music
nights held weekly in the basement
bar of the Slaughtered Lamb in
Clerkenwell, London.

The album features 17 of the most
exciting, up-and-coming singers,
musicians, movers and shakers
from London and further afield.

In between sublimely melancholic
strumming and exquisite finger-
picking, there's soul-soaked
rock'n'roll, folktronica, low-slung
country-blues, one or two musical
surprises and some of the most
unique and arresting voices around.

Jack Penate (aka Jack Fabian)
recently signed to XL Recordings
(White Stripes, Peaches, Devendra
Barnhardt, etc), has supported Lily
Allen and Hot Chip and his debut
single jas been all over Radio 1.

Jamie Woon is getting increasing
recognition, with an album review
in The Guardian and rave preview
in Time Out, as well as plenty of
Radio 1 airplay as a result of being
championed by Gilles Peterson.

So you can trust our ears to bring
you the best new music long before
anyone else knows about it.

The special edition didgipack CD is available on Running Jump Records (cat no. RJR001).
