CREATIVE COMMONS - Revolutionising the concept and application of intellectual
property rights and copyright, so that a creative work, such as a song or
other piece of music, can be made freely available for use by anyone for non-commercial
purposes, with the author still retaining other rights. In other words a musician/songwriter
can customise a license to suit the needs of themselves and their work, and
thus announce to the world the freedoms that they want their creative work
to carry. Ultimately, this means 'some rights (are) reserved' rather than
the usual 'all rights reserved.'
