THE
HISTORY
Walrus
to Bear to Lark to Lamb
electroacoustic
club is
most at home in the secret, tucked-away, intimate venues that you never heard
of before.
Things started out upstairs at the Walrus Social
in Waterloo
in March 2004. The venue, with its kitsch wallpaper, pink neon
stage lights and disco ball, was an instant hit with performers and audience
alike.
We've been at The Slaughtered Lamb since
October 2005, apart from a brief period when a Camden Council Licensing Officer
visited and suggested we were breaking the law. Which we were. We spent a
couple of months across Clerkenwell Road at The Bear
On The Square on St Johns Square, a brief spell at The
Lark in The Park and then got licenses sorted out to make an emotional
return to The Slaughtered Lamb,
where we are now bedded in 5 or 6 nights every week.
